First of all, I must say that I have really loved NEOSTRATA products until this one. NEOSTRATA Restore Ultra Moisturizing Face Cream gave me an unwanted rash. I couldn’t believe it was from this product, so I kept trying it three different times with the same result of a bad rash, red, and wrinkly in appearance. I had to use Cortizone cream to soothe it down. So with third time using this product and the rash appearing, I gave up. I am returning it.

Nice but not for me

This is a nice product but I find that I never reach for it because my skin is just too dry and I don't know if it's ok to use under my tretinoin in the evening. It's a nice product, it's just not for me.

Not really “ultra moisturizing” for me

I have dry skin from using tretinoin, though it is not red or irritated anymore because I have been using it for about one year. I tried this to see if it would moisturize and gently exfoliate the flakes around my mouth. It is more gentle as an exfoliant than other acids, but despite the product name, this did not solve my dryness or flaky skin. I tried varying how often I used it, but it didn’t really matter in the end. I gave up on it on my face and probably will use it up on my neck or on my hands at night.

I am a first time user of this product and I like it!! I have very sensitive and reactive skin so I didn't know what to expect. I have tried lots of exfoliants and my face just can't tolerate them. I read the reviews and thought I would try it. to my surprise I can use it!! Although I cant use it every day because of my sensitivities I can use it at night 3 times a week with no issues. I have rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis so my skin is always dry and flakey but this seems to help with the flakiness, but if I use more than 3 times a week it does tend to dry me worse so I stick with the 3 days. I'm just happy that i found an exfoliant that I can use that my skin doesn't react to!!

Smooth skin!

I was searching for a medical grade moisturizer I could use during the summer and decided to try this one. At first I wasn’t sure if I made the right decision but after using this moisturizer for about a week I knew I definitely made the right decision. I’m 62 with fair, dry skin. It’s necessary to give this moisturizer some time as initially it may feel as though your skin is drying out but what is actually happening is the dead skin is being exfoliated leaving you with very smooth skin. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I wish the size was a bit larger.
