Gentle + Results

I took a gamble when I bought this - having sensitive, rosacea type 1 and 2 skin can be tricky but it's not altogether impossible to incorporate a retinal into your routine, it just has to be gentle. This is definitely that. I saw results after the first use (fading of past PIE and plumping the fine lines on my forehead.) I've been successful using this 2x per week and hope to bump it up to 3x soon. The only reason I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the scent. It's very relaxing and not overtly strong, but my nose is just as sensitive as my skin. I prefer bergamot in my candles and not so much in my skincare because of how easily a rosacea flare can be triggered. So far so good though!

Great for sensitive skin!

I've had a hard time incorporating retinols with any degree of consistency, until I decided to try this form - retinaldehyde. I can absolutely tell this is working - skin appears very smooth and if I try using this more than 3 times per week, my skin will get a bit reactive/red. I always thought I was not using the best if it wasn't retin-A, but seriously folks, for sensitive/reactive skin, this is a winner.

It really is gentle on skin

Osmosis has this formulation of retinaldehyde that doesn't irritate my skin to the point that I have to stop using it. I'm slowly increasing my usage without super drying or flakiness! It's amazing.
