Favorite cleanser
I was recommended this by my aesthetician a couple years ago and I’m so glad that Lovely Skin now carries it! It removes my tinted sunscreen and makeup flawlessly! I do usually double cleanse just because that is a ritual of mine but after when I use my toner there is no makeup residue left. This stuff is gentle but strong enough to get the job done!

Awesome Cleanser!
I have tried many cleansers and have found the best one. Alastin is a clear cleanser which is better for your skin; it takes only a very small amount to create a foamy suds; it removes your eye make up easily and doesn’t sting your eyes; it comes in a pump bottle so no having to squeeze out of a tube; the bottle is 6 fluid oz which very large and lasts a LONG time; is gentle to your face; and I saw a huge difference in my skin after a short while using it. Compared to other brands Alastin Gentle Cleanser was a much better bargain for an outstanding cleanser.

Efficient but tacky cleanser
Cleanser performs well…if you give it plenty of rinsing. Soap residue lingers on skin far too long for my liking and does not rinse off easily without repeated rubbing with water or towel.

Gentle and effective
I have been using this cleanser for over a year now. It’s gentle and does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry but at the same time it cleans my skin and no breakouts. I can get a small bump if my skin gets clogged even at my age ( I am in my 60’s) but have not had any issues after I started using this cleanser . I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate it. I am very happy I found this cleanser. LovelySkin has started carrying Alastin products so plan to buy them here.

Stings my eyes!
I'm giving ALASTIN Cleanser four stars because it thoroughly cleans but doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and dry. Great product for dry and mature types that cleanse only once a day. Easy to use, good design. However, there's an ingredient in it that strongly stings my eyes. First time this has happened with a cleanser and my skin and eyes are not sensitive. It's like getting "soap" (my case, Dove Cleansing Bar) in your eyes while showering. The discomfort lasts for about 30 min. I've thought of contacting Alastin to figure out which ingredient is causing the problem.
