I have been using this product for several years. At age 65, at least in my case, women develop a routine and stick to it with affirmation, no matter what shiny new thing may come down the block. When Dr Schlessinger began this wonderful company over 25 years ago I hopped aboard soon thereafter. At that time most professional grade products were not available in Virginia and Lovely Skin was the precursor of quality, heralding in an era w/o the promotion and hype of social media. Designed generally for use around a procedure, I choose to use as a high performing serum. The water free formula is soothing and hydrating and calms my skin. My sensitive skin can go into overdrive during the harsh winter. Skin Nectar consistently performs. It is a winner and well worth the price.

Alastin skin Nector is a game changer. I have been doing laser treatments for 20 years and spent many days at home after my procedure. Using the Nector before and after has cut my time in half. I love the ALASTIN Regenerating Skin Nectar and especially love it when LovelySkin has it on sale because it’s very expensive. That being said, it’s worth its weight in gold! I use it after I have my professional microneedling treatments done at the med spa. It makes a huge difference in shortening my healing time and it soothes my skin better than anything else. It’s also nice knowing that it’s increasing the effectiveness of my treatment with its quality ingredients absorbing into my recently treated skin. It’s also great after IPL or Fraxel laser treatments. I love it and will continue to use it after any if my treatments.

I purchased the Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar in preparation for a mico needling procedure. It is the best product I have ever used, post procedure. It was very soft and goes on smooth and felt really good afterward. It is not heavy or greasy and it did help the recovery process along. I will have this product in my skin care arsenal for years to come. It is expensive, and you may not need it for everyday use, but it is worth it after you have any derm procedure.

I get allergic reactions on my face that make it dry, rough and so sensitive. This followed by Alastin Soothe and Protect Recovery Balm are my go to’s to bring my face back to normal without stinging. It REALLY WORKS and cuts way down on the time I need to use cortisone cream. It also works wonders when my skin is chapped or after a peel or retinol reaction. I try to replenish my stash when it is on special.
