I am a big fan of retinal and have used several brands for years with a few being in regular rotation. Allies version, way too think for my liking. It almost remind me of the consistency of that little bit of sunscreen in the tube from the last application. It did not absorb into the skin with ease, and unlike others, this is not a luxurious feel when applying. If scent is important to you also, there are better options as this also has a "cardboard box" scent to it. I noticed mild results but there are better options out there when it comes to retinaldehydes. Allies products seem a hit or miss with me and this one, definitely a miss.

Product has a thick consistency. Haven't noticed reduced appearance of wrinkles and fine lines or firmer looking skin but may be working below the surface. Will continue nightly use until finished with product.
