This conditioner is OK. I get blonde highlights so I need a conditioner that will restore moisture and help damage. I feel this worked better on my hair a few yrs ago, idk if they changed the formula or what.

Best single leave-in conditioner
I have dry, coarse, and this is the best single product I can use on my hair after shampooing. I leave it in and it really works wonders to produce loose curls and soft waves. I also use A little on my dry hair to touch up. If I can’t find this, I use the protein cream conditioner +serum. My only complaint is the rigidity of the bottle. You can’t carry it to travel and it’s not easy to squeeze out. Wish they also offered a small travel size. LOVE THIS!

Good product but packaging doesn't work well
I love how this product makes my hair feel, but it's extremely difficult to get the product out of the bottle. Please repackage this - a jar maybe. I'm giving it 4 stars for the product only.

Very thick and moisturizing
I have naturally wavy, thin, and dry hair that I also get highlighted regularly so it requires a fair amount of moisture to not look a terrible mess. This conditioner has been one of my favorites. It doesn’t make my hair feel weighed down, although based on my above description I’m not sure if my experience with my hair type is indicative of expected results for other, less dry and damaged, hair types. At any rate if you have hair that needs a lot of tlc I think this one would be an excellent choice.

Too hard to get out the bottle; does not moisturize hair
I’ve used this for a few weeks and do not notice a positive benefit from any other conditioner that’s meant to help hair resiliency, texture, and volume. My hair, which normally doesn’t “frizz out” does precisely that after using this. I also today wound up slicing the bottles open and spooning their contents into other containers, as I couldn’t get the tops of otherwise, my hand having been pounded too hard and for too long each morning in the shower to get the stuff to come out. This is very frustrating for the consumer. It also seems to be a trend, as Viviscal’s square boxes are similar, but they work out okay if you keep them upsidedown. Being upsidedown has no benefit for Alterna Caviar. Bottom line: the company chose the wrong packaging. Product is too thick and needs a pump, Alterna.
