Noticed a difference right away!
My dermatologist recommended this to help clear my skin of milia, after she removed a few of the larger ones. I noticed a difference after just a few days, but after three weeks my skin looks and feels so much better! PS I have mature dry skin, and I paired the Avene Retrinal with a night cream from a different brand and the combination of the two has been great. I had used other retinol products in the past, along with very good night creams, but none ever made my skin actually look this different.

The Best Retinoid For Sensitive, Aging Skin
I've used countless retinoids over the years (retinols, retinaldehyde and tretinoin by different brands). This is the one I continue to come back to. It's non-irritating while being very effective at smoothing lines and wrinkles while improving skin tone. They recently upgraded the formula with niacinamide too. My only complaint is they use artificial yellow dye, which stains pillow cases at night.

For some reason this new formula of Avene Retrinal 0.1 has a bit of sting and leaves my face red. I loved the original formula. It worked great without the sting and redness. They shouldn't have messed with a good thing.

Gently and non irritating
For years I used the Avene .05 formula for my sensitive skin. I was afraid to go higher until I tried the avene .1 and so far it does not irritate my skin. I do mix it with a bit of moisturizer to help it glide across my face. Avene is my go to for sensitive skin.
