Good starter retinal
I got this to use on the days I didn’t use tretinoin. I typically use tretinoin only x 2/ wk to prevent irritation. I’m always searching for something effective but less harsh than the prescription strength. This is a good product, creamy, absorbs quickly, non irritating, good price. Just not sure it was strong enough for me- didn’t notice any changes but def think this would be good for someone younger or just starting with retinols or if you have extremely sensitive skin. Solid choice!

Good stuff
And strong. I use it 1-2X a week when I’m not using tretinoin. It definitely helps clean out pores and even up skin. If you aren’t using tretinoin it would be a great addition to your skin care routine and if you are, it’s a less irritating substitute for nights off the tret.

Natural & pregnancy-safe alternative to retinol
I chose this serum based on a recommendation from my dermatologist, as an alternative for retinol that is safe to use during pregnancy. This serum contains Bakuchiol which is supposed to be a natural and safe alternative to retinol. I like the fact that this is safe and all natural, but I can’t quite say yet if I feel it working. It has a milky consistency and it feels good when applying it at night, it doesn’t irritate or dry the skin, but I haven’t felt any major improvements in my skin yet (been using it for about a month only).

Avene RetrinAL Advance Correcting Cream
I've just started using this correcting cream by Avene, so I haven't gone through the whole bottle yet. I should have a better opinion by that time. I started by using the correcting cream during the day with sunscreen, in addition to using Avene RetrinAL Creme 0.1 at night (which I love). The first week, I thought my skin looked pretty good, but it started to feel dryer. I decided to cut back to using this 3X a week during the day. I assumed the correcting serum would be gentler than the RetrinAl 0.1.

Anti-aging & Antioxidant
I really enjoy using this product. I have used another brand's similar product that dried my skin out. This does not. I like using the antioxidant under my sunscreen to provide extra protection from the rays. I like the fact that it is a serum especially for the summer because it is light. It feels a little bit tacky, but I put just a tiny bit of the Tolerance Emulsion over it as a moisturizer and then my sunscreen goes on great. I like the pre-measured dosage and the packaging. I am very happy with the product. I do wish it was a bit less expensive. That is why I gave it only 4 stars, just because of the price.
