For very dry, compromised skin
I have sensitive, redness prone, normal-to-dry skin with acne rosacea. Avene Hypersensitive is great for when my skin is very dry, compromised, and needs a lot of extra care. I don't use it often because it's too rich, but it would probably be great for post procedure skin as well.

I've been using this for over 15 years now. It's had some changes over the years but it does what it states. It's gentle, hydrating and doesn't cause breakouts or congestion. Depending on my skin and weather, I will add a more substantial moisturizer to this, if my skin is more dry or I've damaged my barrier, I use the highest tretinoin strength for cystic acne. It has zero scent and a lovely slip to it. It doesn't ease the redness I experience daily, I also have some rosacea, but it doesn't exacerbate it. Three pumps is sufficient to cover my entire face. I use a heavier moisturizer for my neck and décolleté. The balm in this line is good too, but I can't use it daily.

This was my first time ordering this product, the texture seems like it would be heavy but doesn't feel that way on the skin. Very hydrating, I find myself using a bit more of this product to cover my face and neck, the size of it and the amount used in my regimen won't make this product last very long. Wish there was a larger size like 3.4oz.
