Cleansing Balm is the bomb
I first tried this during our stay in FL for several months and then switched to a less expensive cleanser. After that cleanser was gone I switched back to the Hylaluronic Cleansing and saw an improvement within weeks. Smooth hydrated 70 year old skin. Put a dab In your hand and rub it in your hands until granules are melted. Gently rub this warmth on DRY face then rinse. It's heavy for the summer however a little goes a long way and it's not oily like other cleansers. Mature dry skin will thank you immensely!

I was introduced to this cleanser at a spa facial. I was looking for something for my newly 50 year old skin that was beginning to dry out. I had always used something to cut through my oilier skin and those cleansers were now starting to be too much for my skin as it aged and was less oily. I really love how it both removes my eye makeup and cleanses my skin. It’s been my go to for the last few years.

Not for everyone
This balm is a little stiff until it's rubbed together with the fingers. A pro: it goes on a dry face so no bending over with dripping water running down the arms until it's time to rinse off. It is very effective at removing makeup. The con: it takes some vigorous rubbing on the face to apply it effectively. It's warm in AZ but not sure what it would be like in the northern states during winter.

Works well, lovely scent
I love cleansing balms and have used several regularly. I love all the babor products I have tried and this one too. Of note, it has a grainy texture that I was not sure was normal, but it is. After you rub the balm in your hands to warm it up, the grains dissolve and are in fact just the balm itself. If you want a mild physical gentle exfoliation you can use the balm directly on your face, and as you rub, it will all dissolve into an oil balm, then you can emulsify with water and cleanse/massage more. Despite my initial apprehension re texture, I will buy this again, though the tub is large, and it will last a long time, especially rotating with other favorite cleansers. Because it is a semi solid balm, I think it will last a very long time without expiring or turning.
