Calming indeed

I trust Babor with the SOS calming product so when I was noticing that some days my retinoids weren’t playing well with other acid exfoliation, I introduced this product after switching up my exfoliation schedule. I’ve been a fan of the Hydrating and Reactivating boosters to the Hy Öl step one, so I figured there was more to be gained by trying this cleanser than not. I’m glad I tried it. It really had an immediate impact. I rotate boosters, and on days when my cheeks are red, I break out the Calming booster for a delicate approach to cleansing. I usually, but not always, get great emulsion from this booster (I always get at least some), but it’s the calming aspects I use it for and reliably get. I would recommend this to any Hy Öl converts, but I’d leave the Hydrating or Reactivating boosters for those on the fence about the whole two step approach. If you know you love your Öl, this product is soothing and a nice change of pace. I use it about twice weekly and it’s always a help.
