At times you don't want to use the entire vial. That said, it is wasteful, dangerous to put it in containers like this. Too much of a gimmick. You can never break it off cleanly, and you can get a tiny pieces of glass in the mix as I have. Just put the product in a regular bottle that we can recycle and get rid of the plastic piece that breaks the glass top! The product is good but I won't buy it again due to the packaging. I wish I could post a picture to show you the jagged edges upon breaking the vial open.

Best ampoule serum!
I absolutely love this serum, it works so fast and makes my skin look younger and plumper all day. It even fills out some of my deeper wrinkles. I agree with the previous reviewer that the packaging is not ideal. One ampoule lasts me 2-3 applications so I just have an open ampoule on my counter until it’s gone, which is not great as it’s being exposed to air. Even so, it’s the best serum I’ve found and I think it’s worth the money.

Trying not to waste it
I do like this serum - my skin feels a little smoother and firmer but it is expensive and each ampoule contains too much product for one application. So I use a generous amount in the evening, but that still leaves half in the glass. I’ve been emptying that into a tiny opaque container (that once held a La Mer sample) and using it again in the morning. Not sure if that makes it less effective, but can’t just toss it.
