Updated does not necessarily mean improved

I have been using bareMinerals for years and have been very happy with the products. I am not sure how I feel about this updated powder. It seems a bit more 'flaky' -for lack of a better term- than the previous version. Every time I touch it with a brush the powder will just flake all over. I feel like it is wasting more than necessary. The names of the shades changed, and although there is a list showing what new colors equate to the old ones - I am also not sure the color is the same/matches my skin as well.
