Not for dry skin
Unlike every other By Terry product I've tried, the powder blush is not quite right for my skin, which is mature and tends toward dryness. I find the powder settles in fine lines, not unlike other powder blushes. I tried tapping a little serum over it to see if the dry appearance would dissipate a bit, but this did not happen. This powder also seems a bit too coarse for my skin - not as finely milled as I had expected. I purchased Sexy Pink and Platonic Blonde, but neither of these colors flattered my light, neutral complexion. The Sexy Pink is too bright and cool; Platonic Blonde is too yellow. On a more positive note, it comes in a smooth and pretty little silvery compact, with a mirror and small brush. The compact has a solid weight to it. In keeping with the high price tag, it's substantial and elegant. It's nestled in a little black velvet sleeve, like Dior's blush. But this velvet slipcase is too small for the compact, which always falls out in my makeup bag, defeating its protective purpose. This seems to inevitably doom this nice compact to scratches, which is too bad, considering how attractive the compact is. It's also slippery and difficult to open. Its small size makes it awkward to handle. Ultimately, this was not a good purchase for me.
