This is a very gentle, yet effective micro exfoliant. I love how soft my skin feels after using it. It reduces the appearance of my pores and makes my skin look so smooth without feeling dry and tight. I use this scrub at night after washing my face with my normal cleanser. I elected to receive this as a free sample with another of my purchases. I had run out of the cleanser that I was using forever, and decided it was time for a switch, since my the skin on my face wasn't looking the way I thought it should, considering how much time and money I was investing in it. I received a sample of this from LovelySkin and immediately ordered the full size! I use it once a week while in the shower. It leaves my face feeling like have brand new skin! So soft. Not surprising, it does have a charcoal smell. It's not a great smell, but it's better than being fragranced! I will say I did use it more frequently at first and I broke out a bit. That was 100% my fault. I have acne prone skin and I over exfoliated. Once a week is more than enough for my sensitive skin.
