I have been buying this for several years, but the most recent version of this product was different. Specifically, there was a distinct and unpleasant chemical odor that was not apparent with earlier iterations. I'm not sure if the formula changed, but I will not be using this any longer.

I decided to try the derma e hyaluronic acid serum since it had such a great price point and I have had a good experience with their eye cream. I didn't notice much of a difference after using this product, so I can't really recommend it. Maybe it would be more effective for someone with younger skin!

This is my 2nd bottle of Derma E Ultra Hydrating Serum. My skin is sensitive, and this product is very gentle. The Derma E fragrance is mild and pleasant (unlike other brands which have a heavy perfume or chemical scent). I also use the Derma E Hydrating Mist before I apply the Serum. It's a great value as well.

I am halfway through my first bottle and so far am happy with this serum. I just ordered a second bottle here. My oily skin is dehydrated from cystic acne treatments and has been red and flaky. My oil-free moisturizer hadn’t been sufficient, so I was looking for a serum. I tried four other serums but all caused burning pain, welts, or other bad reactions, since my skin is really irritated. I was getting desperate and then tried this serum. It has made my skin softer and most of the flakes go away. This is soothing. There is a fragrance, like candy, when it is first applied but that goes away. I am always fearful of trying something new because I don’t want an acne flare and so far, so good. But I still need more moisture so I am experimenting with face oils. I hope this review helps someone.
