I had knee replacement surgery 6 months ago and have been left with a 4 inch scar on my knee and the Dr recommended I use pure Vitamin E oil to help it heal. I couldn't find a Vitamin E oil without a bunch of other ingredients in it until I found this one. The doctor and every nurse and physical therapist kept commenting on how incredibly well my scar was healing...even asked for the product name. I started using it on old scars and it actually made a difference on them as well. I now add a little to my body lotion every now and again and really notice an overall difference in the health of my skin. My skin is normally oily and acne prone, and lately dehydrated on top of that. This oil is amazing! It's NOT comedogenic, so it's great for acne. Safflower oil is high in linoleic acid, which studies show people with acne are lacking. People with acne prone skin can have the issue where the sebum gets comedogenic causing acne. Linoleic acid can help soften the sebum, making it less comedogenic and reducing acne over time. The vitamin E is a non-comedogenic type, so it doesn't clog pores, while it helps repair the skin, slows down aging and helps repair the acne marks. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and I've seen a big improvement in my skin. It took about a week to get used to this oil, but after that I've seen continuous improvement in my skin, WAY less breakouts, and if I do have breakouts they're smaller and less inflammed. Overall my skin is more balanced, less oily, and also less dehydrated since I started using this 3 weeks ago. If you have acne and/or oily skin and nothing has been working, this has been super helpful. Get a simple and gentle cleanser, and apply this oil on damp skin, as this will lock in the moisture. Doing this, along with a honey-yogurt mask 4-6 times per week has been improving my skin when nothing seemed to be working. I ordered this May 7th, received a shipping notification on May 8th, and received the oil on May 14th for those who are wondering about shipping times right now.
