I bought this set for my 16-year-old granddaughter. The scissors were very sharp. The only issue I have is that the Cape included did not cover the arms only the shoulders. Not sure how long the scissors will stay sharp because she only use them once so far. The case included keeps everything organized. Even the cape fits in the case.
