Very gentle toner

I’m accustomed to toners that are astringent, pore scouring and burn when my skin barrier has taken a hit (like after using an imprinting/hydrogel mask). I got sick of using a toner that caused me physical pain on days when my skin is inflamed and feels like it has a million tiny needle pricks all over (which maybe makes this an ideal post-procedure toner). This is my recovery toner, and it’s incredibly gentle. It doesn’t remove mascara as some would want from a toner, but I’ve got that covered with my cleanser. It’s nice to be able to retreat into a comfortable, well-balanced toner, though I recommend using an actual cotton ball with it instead of a cotton pad as my toner has rapidly depleted while using my overly expensive square cotton skincare pads. It uses a very light formulation and it doesn’t get down deep to scour my pores for sebum and reduce my pore size, which is why I only use it when my skin is under duress. But when I’m inflamed this toner is brilliant. I imagine this will be my go-to toner during the height of winter, but for now in the humidity and heat I’m alternating toners.
