Dark spots are darker!!!

Very disappointed in this product. Info on product says it improves skins appearance and lightens dark spots. I had used for over a month, I use retina, exfoliate regularly and the spots on my face that were light, darkened with use. It does give a nice glow but doesnt perform the way it says it will. Should have saved the $50.00!
