Perfect balance
This moisturizer was recommended to me by my aesthetician. She could see that heavier creams would cause my skin to react and break out. Light, hydrating, and cruelty-free!
I decided to try Elta after having a Morpheus8 treatment. The clinic recommended a different brand, but unfortunately that brand tests on animals in countries where it's required by law. Looking for an alternative, I came across Elta. I'm so glad I did! It's super hydrating without being greasy, and it sinks into your skin within minutes (handy if your next step is primer and foundation). I have eczema flare-ups, so when I say it's hydrating, I mean it's *hydrating*. This is going to be my go-to moisturizer from here on in. Incidentally, Cruelty-Free Kitty is a great resource for those in search of products that don't harm animals.

I’m picky about my moisturizers with my sensitive, acne-prone skin. This one is fantastic! Not too heavy, not too light. I use vitamin c serum, this moisturizer, and a tinted mineral sunscreen every morning. It layers nicely with the other products and is not irritating in any way.

Purchased this during pregnancy since I can’t use my glycolic acid face lotion and I really like it! It’s light, moisturizes well, goes on smooth, and doesn’t pill under makeup. I have pregnancy melasma, so I also wear EltaMD tinted SPF everyday over it and they wear very well together. The combo also does well under a myriad of tinted moisturizers and foundations. My face is combo/oily and my face doesn’t get super oily by the end of the day either. I do wear a powder over my tinted moisturizer though.

Perfect under the SPF
At first I bought only the EltaMD SPF, but it wasn’t enough moisturizing on its own. Apparently I missed the memo on that one!
