I discovered EltaMD three years ago and haven't stopped using their products since. I use their face wash, toner, AM and PM moisturizer and SPF. I always recommend the brand to all of my friends and family. Gentle but effective!

Not for sensitive skin
I was excited to try this on my sensitive, rosacea prone skin but unfortunately it didn't work well for me. The toner is gentle & soothing but after using it once a day for about 10 days my skin became irritated and started breaking out. I rarely ever have blemishes and using the toner was the only thing different I had done. I have tried other toners and all have had the same effect. Nice product, just not for me.

Best toner I've ever used!
I keep coming back to this toner because its the best one I've ever used. Extremely gentle, effective and works well with all my other products. I notice the difference when I try something else. I dot some on to a cotton pad at night to remove any residual makeup or sunscreen and then pat a few drops onto my skin. It isn't drying at all and allows for better penetration of my actives. I've even used it after sweating to freshen up and reapply sunscreen.

Great Facial Toner
I have used several different facial toners but EltaMD Skin Recovery Essence Facial Toner is my favorite. I have been having some skin issues over the last six months with some of my long time favorite products all the sudden irritating my skin. During this time period, I was thankfully still able to use this facial toner without any irritation. I also like it because it is not drying and I feel it does help protect my face from environmental free radical damage. I highly recommend this product.
