Used for first time during Southern California heatwave
Temperatures were in the upper 80s to lower 90s during my visit to SoCal an humidity was in the 70s. Coverage was amazing in these conditions. I did not experience redness or burning. I appreciated the pore tightening effect, my skin appeared and felt smooth and firm.

Great texture. It is similar to the standard UV Clear formulation, but the finish stays matte and dry for longer. I have had no issues with breakouts. I blend it with my other tinted sunscreen that has a thicker texture and alone provides too much tint for me. They blend together flawlessly and provide the perfect amount of coverage for a no makeup look.

If you have oily skin, try this product! It feels very light, doesn’t look like you have heavy sunscreen on, but is still GREAT at protecting your skin. It layers beautifully with other products, and is goes on easily when reapplying throughout the day. I highly, highly recommend!

not good for my skin
Every time I used this i had a burning sensation pretty soon after applying, and my skin got flaky by the end of the day. The texture is nice, but the oil control was even less than the uv clear, and that one is too moisturizing now with the newer formula.

Love it more than the 46!
I really like this sunscreen so far. I goes on much lighter and clearer than the Elta 46 one I've been buying for years from LovelySkin. It dries down faster and keeps my skin more matte than the 46. I am 61 and still have breakthrough oily skin as the day goes on, and this seems to keep it more in control. I mainly purchased it for oil control and higher SPF. I do not like a dewy look so I really am liking the finish on this sunscreen. It is more pleasant to use and more cosmetically elegant than the 46 in my opinion. So far so good. I'll be able to tell more as the summer heats up.

Great SPF
I have oily, acne-prone skin and have tried countless SPFs over the years. This one genuinely surprised me. The texture is lightweight and non-sticky — actually less tacky than my usual Korean SPF. It goes on smoothly with no noticeable white cast and doesn’t leave that heavy feeling I get from other zinc-based formulas. What really impressed me was how quickly it calmed existing irritation on my skin. Within a couple of hours of application I noticed visible reduction in redness and breakouts — something I didn’t expect from a sunscreen. The niacinamide and zinc combination seems to genuinely deliver on the anti-acne claims rather than just being marketing. It also performs well in expression lines and creases — noticeably less white buildup than other SPFs I’ve tried. For oily and acne-prone skin this is genuinely one of the best SPFs I’ve used.
