overall, a nice sunscreen
This sunscreen would be perfect if it was water-resistant and matte. It left a sheen which I did not care for. Living in Hawaii, I didn't feel secure wearing this sunscreen during the hot summer, as it would just melt off with sweat. It would probably work for the very short, less hot Hawaii winters. Otherwise, it felt lightweight and pleasant.

Tinted Sunscreen
I have used the Elta MD Sunscreen for a few years and love the product. I tried the tinted sunscreen, knowing it would provide some color, which would be good for days when I don't really want foundation. Unfortunately, the color made my skin have a red tinge about it. The product still felt fine, but it didn't give me that slight tan glow I was hoping for. So, I'm going back to the untinted version.

Skincare staple
This is the best sunscreen I have found so far, and I have used sunscreen daily for more than 30 years. It is not thick or white, but covers well and doesn't really smell like anything. It also pairs well with most other products. It may pill if I rub at it, but only while wearing certain antioxidants underneath. It even disappears into my eyebrows, which is a huge plus. It will be hard to win me over to another product.

Sun Protection with a smile...
I read about this product in the Wall Street Journal, an article that I felt was fair and unbiased. There are many things I like about this product: 1) easy to apply from a dispenser so that you can control amount of product you want to use. 2) contains a slight tint which compliments my skin tone. 3) It's non-greasy and goes on smoothly 4) since I am in my 70s and admit to wrinkles, this product doesn't settle in the wrinkles, but blends into my skin. 5) most importantly, it protects my skin well from further sun damage. I have ordered this product twice and will continue to do so.

Best Sunscreen especially for sensitive skin
I have been using Elta MD Clear for years now. I recently developed numerous severe topical allergies, possibly in response to a newly diagnosed immune disorder, and had to give up most of my skin care products due to preservatives, fragrance, and other common allergens. Thankfully, this is one of the few topical products approved for me by Mayo Clinic and their Safe Skin app. Over the years UV Clear has not only provided great sun protection, but it has greatly reduced my melasma and prevented the development of new patches on my face, especially my cheeks and chin. I highly recommend this product.

I have combination to dry skin with yellow skin tone. EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 is light, not sticky and absorbs fast. It includes niacinamide, so I use it as a moisturizer during the day. Because I have used different sunscreens with different ingredients, I noticed that sunscreen with up to 9% of zinc oxide won't leave a white cast. Thanks to LovelySkin for listing all ingredients for their products, and it has helped me understand what I am buying from them.

I wanted to love this so much. But after trying it twice (months between the two attempts), I’ve finally decided this sunscreen is not for me. I’m sensitive acne prone, and this sunscreen breaks me out. After one day using it, my face had a lot of tiny little pimples and some cystic acne. I’ll give my bottle to a friend, she loves it. I use the skinmedica mineral shield spf 32 now. It’s made for sensitive post procedure skin.

I hate trying new beauty products
I don't like trying new beauty products because I have dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin. Every time I change up my routine, I usually break out. My brother recommended this product to me and insisted I wouldn't break out. The first few times I tried it, I felt a tingling sensation (most likely due to the zinc oxide). It made me nervous it would be too harsh for my skin, but after a few more uses, I never felt the tingling sensation again. And guess what! It DID NOT MAKE ME BREAKOUT. Hallelujah! I like using this moisturizer over other ones because: 1. High SPF (I trust this brand over other brands that claim to have a high SPF but have been known to fall short on their claims) 2. It doesn't seem to dry me out or make me oily. 3. It works really well under makeup. 4. A little goes a long way. It's a little pricey but I feel like it lasts 4x longer than other moisturizers I've used in the past. Hopes this helps. I was not given this product for free nor was I paid for this review. I'm just thorough and love finding good products that don't break me out. Please don't discontinue this one!

Great everyday sunscreen
This is my favorite everyday sunscreen. I work outdoors and am often in/around dirt, so I like that it isn't greasy (no dirt sticking to my arms!). Reapply often if you use this for outdoor sports or swimming. As it isn't greasy, water and sweat make it wear off a bit faster.
