Wow, what a great sunscreen!
This sunscreen applies beautifully. It is not at all greasy but its not drying either. I have very fair, sensitive, troubled skin and always, always wear sunscreen. I researched many, many products and decided to try this one, since it had nice reviews. This is excellent alone and terrific under makeup. I apply it first, then my moisturizer, then my Jane Iredale PurePressed mineral foundation that has added SPF in it. Other sunscreens were too thick and sticky. Not this one. It really works. And its really fantastic!

Best sunscreen
Elta MD really has a great line of sunscreen, but this particular one is fabulous. Ive noticed less irritation on my sensitive, acne prone skin since using it. The lotion goes on smooth and is light (it doesnt feel greasy or shiny which is a huge plus for oily skin). This is my go-to facial sunscreen.

My Holy Grail Sunscreen!
Out of all the sunscreens Ive tried this is the best one for my oily, acne-prone skin. Ive been using for over 1 year now and it has really calmed down the irritation I was getting from using Retin-A micro. It goes on smooth and has a beautiful finish. It is fragrance-free but I like the clean scent it has. I look forward to putting on each day and it doesnt feel like I have anything on. I still have to blot in the afternoon but it is so much less than before. Highly recommend.

This sunscreen goes on smoothly and sinks right into my skin. I have olive skin and this sunscreen does not leave a white film on my skin. Im currently using lightening products on my face and this offers excellent protection.

Great sunscreen for sensitive skin

Wanted to love it..too bad
Elta MD is okay. Wanted to use this as my every day moisturizer Leaves my skin VERY oil. I have to be very careful with the amount of this product I out on my face. Too much leaves a white film on my face makes me look like I just took off clown makeup. Too Little, makes my skin look dry and peeling. Love the amount of SPF, but I will probably only use this when I’m doing outdoor activities, going to the beach/pool or island vacation.

Great sun protection for sensitive skin
I have extremely sensitive skin, and most sunscreens contain chemicals that sting or burn my face. Not Elta! I wear this sunscreen every day and have had no reactions at all. My friend has psoriasis and must be extremely careful about the products she uses, especially when her psoriasis is acting up, and her dermatologist recommended this product. I also like how light this sunscreen feels, that it doesnt look white when you apply it despite containing zinc, and that it doesnt clog my pores. It is not terribly moisturizing, but thats fine with me since I have very dry skin and prefer to use my regular face cream over whatever sunscreen I use.

Hope to help others w/ similar skin
Ive never reacted so badly to a product in my whole life. My skin is fairly sensitive, slight rosacea (most people just think my cheeks are a very light pink) light complexion, mostly dry but oily forehead, almost never a pimple and 41 yrs old. Used sunscreen one time and the next day my whole face was bright red, itchy, burning and hot to the touch. In addition my cheeks and sides of face were covered with pustules to the point that they were more of a rash. I had to put ice gel packs on my face all day as I had a public speaking commitment that evening. I also used a washcloth (and magnifying mirror) to gently break all pustules and lightly cleansed. By night it looked like a moderate sunburn but it took almost 2 wks to fully recover including flushing hot cheeks. Apparently I am allergic to this product, so hoping others will do a test before slathering it on!

Cant say enough about this sunscreen. Forget the thick, oily feeling that several sunscreens leave your skin feeling like. Elta MD clear can even be put on before you apply your makeup, leaving your face shine free. Love this product!!!!!!!!!

Great Product
While my skin isnt excessively oily naturally (just the normal T-zone with black heads) many sunscreen/moisturizer would make it oily and/or give me break outs. I found this product while reading some blogs written by dermatologists and decided to give it a try. Im so glad I did because it is exactly what I was looking for. It goes on very smooth, almost silky. It does have a slight white cast at first but it absorbs in a few minutes. Ive been using it for about a month and there is no oily shine, my pores look smaller, I have less black heads and my skin even feels softer! This is a GREAT product no matter what skin type you have.
