Protection for my face and hands
This is my go to sunscreen, goes on smooth and never feels greasy. Have used for five years now and has protected my face. I used the tinted when I needed extra color. The untinted is perfect for any daytime activities.

One of the best tinted sunscreens!
Elta MD spf 46 tinted face sunscreen has been my go-to for 5 years. I've tried most tinted sunscreens on the market, prior to finding Elta. The tinted color looks very natural. The only make up I wear is a moisturizer under the Elta tinted sunscreen. That is it! I don't' spend money on foundation. If I want to go lighter on the color in the winter, I mix 1/2 the tinted and 1/2 the clear sunscreen and apply to my face. Face is not shiny or greasy from the sunscreen. The clear sunscreen is great by itself. Both the clear and tinted are a MUST for me!

I first introduced EltaMD products to my skin several years ago after my Dermatologist suggested I use them. This duo is one of my mainstays that I use every day. They both go on smoothly — the tinted lotion is just a nice hint of color—sometimes I use the clear first, then add the tinted over it. It gives me the overall feeling of added protection—which is probably not needed but makes me feel good. I have had great success with being “zapped” less at the Dermatologist. Works for me.

Drying and pill
I really wanted to like this sunscreen, especially the tinted one. I will use in a pinch or give to darker skinned person but the tint is to greyish brown for me and although I have oily skin they made my skin dry and flaky and pilled when I tried to put make up over them.

Clear duo
Elta MD clear is the only sunscreen that doesn't cause breakouts to my sensitive skin. It's nice to have a clear and a tinted so that i can use the tinted to give my face a little color without makeup. The clear is great for under makeup.
