Lovely but...
Loved the sample. Beautiful finish, best natural glow of any "makeup" I've ever used. Bought the full size. A week later - cysts. I loved it so much I tried to convince myself they were due to something else for 2 months, but in the end, this caused horrific breakouts.

Instagram/Internet made me buy it
When I first starting looking into skincare routines, I learned that sunscreen was the #1 anti-aging ingredient. EltaMD products were consistently listed in internet articles for dermatologist top sunscreens and I saw this product on social media websites. I decided to order on this website because they are an authorized seller and I couldn't find this product locally. I'm glad that I had the option of ordering online via an authorized seller. In terms of the product, it's excellent. The EltaMD website says all of their sunscreens have PA +++ UVA rating. UVA rays cause aging, thus I know I am getting protection from both UVA & UVB rays with this product. I also hate any type of sunscreen that feels heavy and greasy on my skin. This one doesn't feel that way at all. It really feels like I am rubbing a light moisturizer on my skin. Very easy to use doesn't burn and I don't have to worry about color issues since I bought the non-tinted version. My husband also likes this sunscreen and the best sunscreen you can buy is the one you will use. I will definitely be re-ordering this product.

Doesn't cause breakouts
I use this sunscreen when I don't want to wear makeup because it doesn't leave a gray or white cast on my brown skin. It does leave it slightly shiny looking however, but I feel confident that it's protecting my skin from the harsh rays. It hasn't caused any type of breakouts whatsoever! It doesn't get five stars, because it contains a chemical sunscreen. In general it's a good product.

Great consistency, not so great for acne
I bought this at my dermatologist's office at first and have been using it for 3+ months now. Great consistency, goes well under makeup and I don't even need a moisturizer over it most of the time. However, not so great for the acne. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and I've been breaking out ever since I started using this. Not deep, hormonal acne, but surface pimples. I would come home every day with at least 3-4 new pimples and I thought I was losing my mind. I finally stopped using it and, viola - immediately stopped breaking out. So sad, especially considering it's supposedly made for those of us with acne.

The SFP 46 provides great coverage to use over daily moisturizer to protect skin from sun damage. Very light and smooth finish. The tinted color helps to provide a more even completion to cover imperfections along with using a liquid foundation.

Great consistency and great for acne prone skin!! It does not make my pores feel clogged and it goes on great over my daily moisturizer. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because I wish it lasted longer. Directions say to reapply every 2 hours throughout the day.

Excellent sunscreen
This sunscreen is light weight. It absorbs quickly and does not leave white residue on skin. It plays well with serums and foundations. The means no beading into little balls on the skin. Sometimes some sunscreens interact with silicone make up and it will bead. There is no typical sunscreen odor either.

great for sensitive skin
I have both acne and dry, sensitive skin, and my dermatologist suggested this as a combination skin-calming lotion + sunblock. First I used the original one, without tint, and then thought I'd try the tinted one. The consistency is still nice and light, and the color works with my slightly olive complexion. It can sometimes look a little greasy, and if you have broken veins or any redness, as I do, this coverage is too light to hide such blemishes. But it is still a really nice lotion that feels good on my skin.

Like it, more than love it
I really like how light weight it feels and it's not greasy at all. I've used other tinted SPF moisturizers and they would give me light cover up, but this one has no cover up. So, what I like about it is also what I don't. I haven't used it long enough to see how effective it is as a sunscreen or for my blemishes "acne". I've been using mineral powder with 15 spf on top for a little more "blemish" cover up.

I started using EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 Sunscreen - Untinted three years ago. I have extreme sensitivity to the sun resulting in uneven, dark splotches on my face. Light tint with sun protection
My dermatologist recommended this with zinc oxide to protect my scars from darkening. Ive used the into yes version for years with great results. It absorbs into my face easily but has a minor oily residue feel until dry. Great sun protection but not water-resistant.

Not for my sensitive skin.
The other reviews for this EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum tinted sunscreen made it sound like it would be great for my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, it triggered an adult acne outbreak on my chin that took weeks to calm down. The sunscreen was the only new product in use. Maybe it's better for less sensitive skin? I wanted to like it.

Perfect for sensitive skin
I'm so happy to have finally found this product! Until now, I had not found a single sunscreen for daily use that did not immediately wreak havoc on my skin, but after using Elta for about a week, my skin's still totally clear. The texture of this product is great as it goes on very smooth and velvety. I don't wear foundation and while the tint is very sheer, it's enough to give my skin a nice even complexion.

Great sunblock to wear everyday of the year
My 13 year old daughter and I both wear this sunblock on our face and decollage everyday of the year. I love the clear formula the best. It gives a nice matte finish to your face. It doesn't cause acne, which could be an issue with my daughter given her age. Our dermatologist recommend this line of products. Living in Colordo, we need to protect our skin everyday of the year!
