Overall, Elta MD sunscreen’s have been my favorite simply because they offer moisturizing benefits along with skin healing benefits. I decided to try to tinted version this time and I prefer untinted. The tinted version is not for my skin, as I am blessed with healthy, clear skin. It does not boost/add to my complexion to have it tinted. If anything, tinted I takes away from my complextion. Regardless of sent it or not tinted, it does the job, and it does the job well from blocking harmful rays, and other oxidizing factors in the air.

Best for sensitive skin
EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 untinted is one of the very few sunscreens that doesn't make my face feel itchy. It goes on very easily and blends so well that you can't tell that sunscreen is being worn.

Doesn’t feel like sunscreen.
The best sunscreen to wear under makeup. It’s lightweight and not greasy like other sunscreens. I would suggest using something stronger if you are going to be in direct sunlight for a longer period of time, but I always keep this product on hand because it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing sunscreen at all.

Elta Comes Through Again
I am darker skinned with melasma and have struggled finding a facial sunscreen that did not appear chalky against my skin and that actually worked to keep the dark spots away. I've finally found it in EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum 46SPF facial sunscreen. Now I don't leave the house without it on my face and the tops of my hands. Love this product!

Had to search for better result
This was my first EltaMD product. i Loved the smooth application, but had to make sure i rubbed it in very good. There were white streaks against my hairline if not rubbed all the way in. remember to comb eyebrows after application if some sunscreen got on them. Living in Oklahoma it gets pretty heated so i easily sweat. The sweat kills the sunscreen so i had to order me some "sport" or "physical" sunscreen.

I have been using Elta MD for years since it was recommended by my dermatologist. This is such a light and fast absorbing sunscreen that you can put it on after moisturizer and before make up and never feel that you've caked on a product. Okay replacement of the old EltaMD SPF 45
I was using the old EltaMD SPF 45 until they discontinued it, then I switched to the new SPF 46. It works fine except it's a lot more expensive than the old formula and quality is just about the same. One star off because value isn't the best.
