DERMATOLOGIST RECOMMENDED
12/2020 I recently had a pre-cancerous lesion removed from my forehead. My dermatologist suggested this Elta MD moisturizer which also contains a good SPF. You don’t need a lot to cover your entire face and it’s very moisturizing- not drying at all, and I have dryer skin. Here, in Florida, even if you’re not trying to be in the sun - it’s impossible to completely avoid it. A good sunscreen is so important - as well as a cute sun hat! This moisturizer also comes in a tinted shade, which is great if you are makeup free. The doctor gave me a few samples of each to try and I decided to buy the regular size. I’m happy with this product and plan to continue using it.

Repeat order. Great facial sunscreen. Not thick or pasty. CLEAR zinc - NO white cast and absorbs well. Great sun protection too. Despite the positive review, I am constantly confused re the differences in the products: Daily vs Renew vs Restore. The explanations provided don't help so I keep going back to the least expensive because I can't really tell what the others are meant for OR why they are priced higher???

I love this sunscreen. It is not tinted, is light texture and melts into your skin. I live in south Florida in the winter and use this almost every day. The pump delivers the right amount of product for your face so there is no waste. I use another half pump for my neck. The only negative to this is you have no way to know when the container is empty, and no way to get the last bit of product out. So make sure you always have the next one at hand!

Great everyday sunscreen
I've been using this product for a couple years. I like being able to use a daily sunscreen that is lightweight and blends in easily. It actually gives your face a dewy glow and feels like a moisturizer. Would recommend for normal wear but not for heavy outdoor activity like running. This did not protect me on my 6 mile runs, and felt like my face got too much sun, so I switched to a sports sunscreen for that activity in particular. But otherwise, this is a great sunscreen for normal daily wear.

Perfect for running with no makeup!
Just had IPL for sun damage on my face. Needed an easy to wear sunscreen for my outdoor runs when I don’t wear makeup. Many bloggers I follow rave about Elta MD sunscreen. It did not disappoint! Goes on dewy and shiny, but after a few minutes, it sinks right in. The slight tint just makes my light skin have a little healthy glow. My skin is oily, but it doesn’t make my face break out or look greasy. Will likely try the other tinted Elta MD formulas and compare them all. But for now, I’m very satisfied UV Daily version!

I've been using EltaMD for years now and always liked the way it feels on my skin; it has a refreshing feeling and it's so nice to have your skin protected from harmful rays. I used to wear it underneath my foundation, but I have aged a bit do now I order EltaMD Tinted and use it alone as my foundation. It gives me just enough color while I still get the benefits.
