Best Sunscreen for Post-Procedure Skin
This sunscreen was recommended to me by my aesthetician after doing fractional radio frequency on my face for acne scars. She gave me a sample of this and I loved how it neutralized the redness on my face and went on so smooth. It does leave a bit of a white cast but it sits well under foundation. I ended up purchasing the full size on LovelySkin because this sunscreen was much better than my other Korean-brand sunscreen—especially for skin that is recovering from an ablative procedure.

Almost ideal
Maybe some people have found the holy grail sunscreen for their face. I'm still sorting through the magnitude of that space and options. This is not really a complaint as mush as a desire, I would have scored this product higher if it had higher protection. Having said that, for me this product goes on smoothly and is easy to apply. It looks a little greasy when I'm applying it, but it quickly settles to a pleasant finish. I don't experience my skin looking dry or oily when I use this. For reference, I'm fifty six. Primarily, I have yellow undertones as opposed to pink. The tint works well on my face. The skin on my face is lighter than the skin that is visible on my torso. The tint in this product helps to balance the difference between the two in a natural looking way. I have applied this around my eyes and have not experienced any burning or irritation. Even with daily use, I believe this product will last for a long time.

Love this sunscreen in tinted shade, I have used it daily for years. It gives light coverage and protects from sun damage. Also, foundation can go over it very nicely. It never clumps or gathers in creases.

The Best Sunscreen
I've used EltaMD for like 15 years. My dermatologist recommended it and I've never used anything else. I have acne prone skin and this doesn't make it worse, it's light coverage and one container lasts a long time. The only switch I make is between this and the tinted version depending on the time of year.

There is nothing that I have found that compares to this. It is a perfect sunscreen and the tint option is nice. The tint will not give full coverage but a good base before I use concealer and my foundation.

Not the best for sensitive skin
I don't really know how I feel about this sunscreen. My dermatologist recommended it but I find it very heavy and greasy. I should have looked at the ingredients 1st because I did not realize that this has petroleum in it. That's probably why it feels so heavy on my skin. I did get a little skin irritation from it on my cheeks. But it did not cause me any breakouts. Probably won't repurchase in the future. Might try the EltaMD 46 clear next time.
