Very light consistency with great SPF coverage!
I tried this for the first time on vacation. It's so nice and light that you can wear on top of your normal serums and below your makeup. I did notice it dried out my skin a little (I had replaced it as my moisturizer). Next time, I'll mix a bit of moisturizer in.

I'm loving this sunscreen!
I purchased this on the recommendation of my dermatologist and I just love it. Not too greasy, absorbs quickly and no white cast. I can't say much about how it does under makeup because I very rarely wear makeup. But I'm back to buy some more for backups for when I run out, although I suspect that will take a while, a little of this sunscreen goes a long way.

Lightweight
I have used the product a few times so far. I do like the lightness as well how sheer the product is. Although a broadband sunscreen it doesn’t leave your face white and chalky feeling. Would purchase again.

Great, lightweight! No white cast!
I got this sunscreen for my teenage daughter since I only use Physical Sunscreen. She has oily/combination skin. Prone to acne as well. This sunscreen did not break her out and leaves her skin protected & hydrated. Blends and absorbs easily. Does not leave a white residue film. Has worked great for her skin. Definitely recommend if your skin can tolerate chemical sunscreen ingredients.

EltaMD Sheer SPF 50
This is a wonderful product!! It is very sheer, yet it give full SPF 50 protection. It goes on easily and has an 80 minute water/sweat rating which is really important - particularly in warm weather. I often use a very light foundation on top of it and that works quite well. I strongly recommend this product.

I've tried several and this is the best. It's "watery" enough to not feel sticky, dries to a matte (not chalky) finish and isn't smelly! Also, it doesn't ball up if applying liquid makeup. What more can you ask for?

Finally a physical sunscreen that blends easily and doesn't leave a white cast. You do want to follow instructions about letting it sit in for 15 minutes but it will soak thru nicely. Even the tinted version of this didn't settle quite right. I use light primer, pressed powder foundation and then this and it ends up looking dewy versus stripe-y lol. Great protection and I think a reasonable price.

I recently purchased the Elta MD Broad Screen Sunscreen for my face after trying it from my sister and also after receiving a sample from Lovely Skin. It is very light and moisturizing without feeling greasy. The zinc oxide does not appear white on my face as another top brand does. I use it faithfully every day as part of my routine. I have very sensitive skin and this has not caused any adverse problems to my face. It is now my “go to” for facial sunscreen!
