Good sunscreen
Easy to apply without leaving a white film on skin. Absorbs well with no shine and gives good protection and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t moisturize much, my skin feels dry or powdery but not too bad.

EltaMD UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF50
I was using EltaMD SPF products from many years back. Usually they didn’t go above 36-40 grades of SPF and were moisturizing and with some protection. This new SPF 50 plus is certainly a stronger protection, but not only. I just came from being a couple of days at New Jersey beach. Sitting in a chair by the ocean on a sand one gets a lot of UVB rays. Then one goes into water and your protection is usually washed off by the waves. Not with that product, you might not reapply each time you swim, you might apply it one time before you head outside or to the pool/beach and you stay protected. No redness, no new dark skin spots on a face and your skin looks natural, but better because it’s also had a dewy touch. I found my summer cream.

Pretty pleased!
I have the hardest time with sunscreens—everything ends up stinging or breaking me out. With this one, a little goes a long way and if anything, it’s been helping my skin out. I use this as a moisturizer/spf 2-in-one, which I love. It can definitely get a bit shiny, but I set it with powder and that seems to do the trick. Ultimately, I’d rather be a little glowy than have my skin dry out by the end, which has happened with other mineral sunscreens.

My husband and I have used the EltaMD UV Clear for years. I bought a tube of the broad spectrum spf 50+ for my husband to try for when he golfs. He thought it made his face sweat and went back to the UV clear. I tried it and didn’t see too much difference between the two. It has a thinner consistency, doesn’t leave a white cast, and plays nice with my makeup. I’ll use it myself.

Love EltaMD sunscreens
For daily use I like the EltaMD clear sunscreen, but wanted a facial sunscreen that was water-resistant for those days at the pool. After receiving a sample of this one I ordered the full size and am very happy with it. Not greasy, no chemical smell, no white cast, and works very well. Can even wear under makeup, good for a long day out and about. A winner!

Great for sensitive skin
I like EltaMD sun screen but love the EltaMD UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+. I have sensitive skin and sun screen often causes small bumps on my face so I have been using the Clear formulation of EltaMD but find it a bit drying. I get no bumps with the Sheer formulation and it keeps my skin from feeling dried out.

Not my favorite!
For years I used EltaMD Clear, but as I've aged I switched to EltaMD Daily sunscreen and find it works much better for me. I'm always on the search for something even better than Daily so I tried this new product from EltaMD. It's just ok as far as I'm concerned. To be honest, it stings a bit when applying and that's a problem I never have with Daily. At this point, I'm going to stick with Daily.

There is a light cast on my medium to dark skin. Dewy finish. I do not like it under my liquid foundation. I will not be purchasing this again. It has a very silky texture and spreads easily.

I got a sample of this and was so impressed I had to purchase a full-size. I was surprised at how small a full-size was since this is for the body and face, but I like that it didn't leave a super thick and white cast on the skin. It seems a bit less greasy than other sunscreens, too. I use it for when I want extra strong sun protection, even if I'm not going in the water. I recently developed some nasty skin conditions that required extra sun protection, and I found this sunscreen to be helpful.

This is a nice product! It goes on easily and becomes sheer. Does not leave a white cast on my tan skin. It is smooth and not thick. Of note this is not completely mineral/physical and does contain some chemical sunscreen.
