Favorite sunscreen in our family
We trust this sunscreen to protect us even in the hot sun of the Caribbean on vacation. My husband has had several instances of squamous cell skin cancer requiring surgery, and his doctor recommended this sunscreen. We all like it because it goes on so easily and doesn’t leave a white film. I put a thick layer on every morning before the beach, reapplied every one and a half hours, and hardly got a freckle!

The product is not greasy on the skin and spreads very evenly on the face, neck, ears and upper chest. I also use it on my arms and hands, and it absorbs well. Amazing for the body

Absolutely one of the best sunscreens on the market
I have used a lot of sport sunscreens from different brands. I live in California. I hike, bike, run, and swim all summer long. EltaMD UV Sport goes on smooth without a white cast on my skin. Also, it is fairly sweat proof. I do not experience the sunscreen mixing with sweat and stinging my eyes during a run. I am reordering my second tube. I highly recommend the sunscreen for active lifestyles.

Best Sports Sunscreen
Both my kids use this on their face and body when participating in their track and cross country activities. They were instructed by their doctor to do so because they were also using acne medication. Other sunscreens made them break out or caused sunburns, but the Elta MD Sports sunscreen has not. Also, it is highly sweat resistant and stays on throughout their rigorous practices. Best of all, it is a physical sunscreen without the nasty chemicals and doesn't have that white tint at all. It goes on clear. We'll continue using this as long as they make it!

I have used Elta moisturizing and sunblock products many times. You can't go wrong with any of them. This was used for a trip to Hawaii. I was pleased with the way my skin felt and hard to believe but no burn even after lots of time in the sun. I will add this to my other Elta products for all over body protection. They do a good job. I have very sensitive skin so the EltaMD UV Sport Water-Restitant Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen is perfect. I really like how it is NOT greasy and doesn't feel like it is "building up" on my skin when I have to reapply. I also really like how it is made with zinc oxide, a natural mineral compound that doesn't degrade during exposure (like some chemical sunscreens can).
