The serum goes on nicely and dries down to make your face smooth. I can't speak to the effect on acne as I don't break out much (I'm in my mid 50s) but still have an oily t-zone and larger pores and this product was suggested to me. It does really seem to calm the skin and if I even have a small bump or something, it seems to take care of it quickly.

I mix the serum with my day time moisturizer ( at night I use another acne product). I also apply it directly to my pimple. It drys it up (a little flakiness at times) but doesnt irritate my skin Would definitely recommend.

Having acne prone sensitive skin, I tried this product and found it to be a very good product. It calms my sensitivity and has kept oil at bay. Not to sure about handeling breakouts but it has only been a couple weeks so I will continue to give it a chance. This is definately a great product for controlling oil and calming redness. I have been using it with the thermal spring moisturizer for days when I need extra moisture.
