This is a game changer for acne prone skin. This oil has natural properties to hydrate and heal skin without being to heavy for daily use. It has astringent capabilities with ylang ylang as one of its main ingredients. This is a very sheer and lightweight application to the skin.

Caused severe red breakouts
I used this only at night and put a light layer over my washed skin. I was hoping it would soothe my sensitive skin but it caused severe red breakouts. I saw the breakouts subside after a week of not using this product. I like the idea of Eminence products I just wish they didn't put a whole kitchen sink in of ingredients so I could narrow in on what is beneficial and what is not.

Perfect product for night moisturization
I tried this oil as part of my evening regime after really liking the Eminence Rose Hip oil for the day. The Facial Recovery Oil is a perfect addition. I have skin that trends oily with some hormonal acne but also gets horrible dry spots in winter (thank you heat and wind!). Using this product at night with the Eminence Marine Peptide cream really does help. I have not experienced any breakouts, which was a concern with an oil product. My skin has a great glow to it. It helps me survive winter without looking flaky and red.

I am not a fan of facial oils as I have very oily, acne prone skin and have had issues with them in the past. The cold Alaska winter took a toll on my skin and I needed to find something to soothe and moisturize without making my skin worse. This oil was my ticket. I use 1-2 drops in my 8 greens serum and it was enough to help balance my skin out. It also helps that serum to spread evenly, a win win in my book. It is a bit expensive but the quality is there and it will last a while.

This is the most beautifully balanced facial oil I have ever used. I will buy it again and again. It's especially nice in the summer time because it manages to feel nourishing without being heavy. Maybe especially dry, mature skins could handle a heavier oil in the winter, but I don't think anyone could go wrong with this oil. This is a top-5 Eminence product.
