This one is a bit thin as is to be expected since its a gel. I bought it to use at night, but end up using it during the day. It goes on nicely under make up. The smell is great too. Not perfumey, but rather a natural fruity smell.

Sits on top of skin
I love the majority of my Eminence products, but this moisturizer didn’t hit the mark. It feels like this one just sits on top of my skin and doesn’t absorb. It smells nice and the texture feels good when applying, but my skin is left feeling dry and it will pill off throughout the day. I recommend the eminence probiotic moisturizer or the arctic berry moisturizer instead. Those ones are the best!

I was very hesitant to try this moisturizer. I have finicky skin that is aging and oily and acne prone. I have used the clear skin moisturizer (had a reaction to Shea butter), the advanced acne hydrator (had a reaction to it also) and the stone crop gel hydrator. I loved the stone crop gel, it is amazing but I need a bit more for cell turnover and moisture and acne control and I needed a formula that wouldn’t upset my skin. I started using this and the mangosteen face wash and I am loving the results. My skin is happy and hydrated, my pores actually look smaller and my acne that was flaring up is diminishing. I also have had an issue with pesky white heads and have noticed they are going away. I think the lactic acid in this is great at helping balance oil and cell turnover without over drying. This moisturizer has a very light, fresh scent and is quickly absorbed. I have no excess oil production and my pores look incredible. I really do think this is the best moisturizer and I’m excited to see the long term benefits. It will last a while too as it is very concentrated, which helps offset the price in my opinion.

I bought this because I generally like Eminence products and, as someone with inflammatory rosacea, I've been advised that gel products are preferable for my skin type. I bought this to use in the evenings as my nighttime face moisturizer. It is very moisturizing, so would really be great for someone with really dry skin. My skin, however, is combo with an oily T-zone. So, daily use of this product can be a bit too much. I have found that using it every other evening works best.
