I have been using sea mud for over 30 years. I adored it for my oily skin when I started using it, and continue to do so. Your face feels really clean and refreshed after use. The price has increased and the size diminished over the years, but it still worth the price!!!

Best facial cleansing bar on the planet
I have been using this cleansing bar for years. This is the very same bar of soap that Marilyn Monroe used on her face as well. It is the absolute best and I cannot live without it. If I had to choose one thing while being stranded on an island, this would be IT !! Enjoy.

Wow! My face feels so clean and fresh, yet it isn’t dry or tight. I usually use the gentle cleansing bar in the winter, and so glad I gave this a try along with the deep cleansing oil. Every bit of sunscreen, makeup, and oil was removed. I use at night.

Using the bar after the cleansing oil has completely changed my cleansing results! The bar has lasted me three months. The cleansing oil melts the oils and the bar sucks up all the impurities. My skin looks brighter and feels squeaky clean but not stripped and dry. Only 4 stars because neither the oil or the bar are good at removing eye makeup.

Surprised but this old Favorite
I remember 50 years ago when all my girlfriends were using this "exotic" soap to clear up their acne. I had forgotten about it over the years but was looking for something new to cleanse my face and decided to give it a try even though I don't haver acne in my senior years. In fact, my skin is dry. But, the reviews I read indicated it was good for all skin types so thought I would see. Was I ever surprised. My skin has a new glow to it. The soap definitely washes off all the dirt from the day and does not seem to alter the PH balance of your skin in doing so. It just makes it ready to accept all those serums and night creams.

This charcoal bar is hands down the best part of my daily skin care routine. I’ve always had issues with break outs, even as an adult. Those cut WAY back once I began using this! I do wash my face with it twice each morning and each night, because it really clears away any sebum or daily residue for me. And it lasts such a long time, that it’s absolutely worth the money. My husband and I both use it twice a day (actually 4 times a day for me since I wash with it two times in a row per cleansing), and it still lasts for months between the both of us! I started using Erno Laszlo back in the 70s and after a number of years, drifted away to try other, more expensive, highly hyped lines which led to breaking out in acne and rashes! Formula has changed, but still a wonderful facial bar
I started using Sea Mud Soap MANY years ago, and I remember loving the original scent of the old Sea Mud Soap formula. This new version works the same, but smells different to me, and the bar seems a bit smaller too. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars. It really makes a difference in my complexion.
