Don't be misled by the word "Gel"

This sunscreen is not one of those new "gel" products that disappears into your skin. It is a whitish, pinkish lotion that leaves a residue in your wrinkles or in folds of skin. I used it on my face and neck and have whitish rings around my neck an hour later, even after rubbing it in. The smell is a cross between sunscreen and something medicinal. It's not particularly pleasant. The one good thing about this sunblock is that I didn't break out from it. I was hoping to find an actual gel with a pleasant smell.
