Interesting take on the K-Beauty sensation
I'm really obsessed with two part hydrogel masks, and I love ones that infuse for two or more hours, but I thought I'd give these masks a try. I have to say, I wasn't very impressed with the results, or the masks themselves. The masks have "collagel" (hydrogel) on one side (face side) and this weird plastic opaque fuzz facing outwards. The was definitely new to me. I waited about 20 minutes. Ultimately, I felt like I could identify Korean hydrogel peptide-infused masks much less expensive with better outcomes than these masks, because the post-HydroPeptide mask glow was on the minimal side. I was able to use them before work in the morning because they're conveniently not messy at all, they require no alterations, and they only are meant to be used for 10-15 minutes. So these have a niche. But, these masks are intended to provide a short-term dewy freshness to the face, so they're not going to have a lasting impact--that's just not what a hydrogel mask is for. I was impressed by the fact that after taking off the mask, makeup became useless because it'd just cover the mask's results, and I love going makeup-free to work. In the end, I had a few good dewy days at work, but the effects only really lasted until the end of the day, and were minimal compared to what I'm used to.
