dispensary mechanism is annoying

I like the way it looks on my skin, has a beautiful finish, but it is a pain to see if you get the product on the brush and whether you are getting enough on your skin or not. I get that this is an “ on the go/practical” type of product but It would be user friendly if it was in a separate container than the brush.
