Best I have tried, and I have tried many this summer
I have looked for the perfect sunscreen, and of course it does not exist. This one is the best I have tried and I have tried many mineral options from higher end brands. I only use mineral. Most of the ones that have great texture do not also have titanium, only zinc. This has both and the texture is different, neither oily, nor dry or powdery in finish. It is not drying and not greasy on. The tint on my (pretty pale and rosacea skin) face is not too orange or pink, and it is not really super obvious except when I don't rub it in well. I have a feeling that it would not show up as stark contract on deep/er skin tones or paler. It does not cover like foundation (good in my opinion) and has no strong odor, perfume-y or otherwise. It does not leave any white cast, even when first going on. My face feels good after a day with it, and it does not seem to collect in crevices and get caked even on really hot days. My face feels pretty plump after a day of wearing this. I use an eye area sunscreen around my eyes, so not sure how it reacts to the eye area, but my skin is fine with it, no reaction. I am likely going to be using the other brands for neck and chest areas and this as my main sunscreen on face.

Good protection with warm toned tint
I've been ordering this for over 3 years now, and have found it to be a non-irritating, creamy texture with good, sheer-to-medium coverage. I deducted one star due to the tint which falls on the warm/yellow side. Not the best for me since I have cool undertones, so I mix it with a bit of cool/neutral foundation to reduce the yellowish hue. A more neutral tint would be ideal, and suitable for a wider customer base. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this tinted spf has raised no issues. Layers well over moisturizer (in winter). Does not pill. After application, I wait a couple of minutes, then use a makeup sponge to remove any excess. Stays looking good all day (at least 12 hours), unless your activity level causes excessive sweating. Will continue to order and recommend.

Did not work for me
Unfortunately the tint didn’t work out for my skin tone. It was way too orange. Other than that, the texture seemed nice, the finish was slightly dewy on my skin.

Adore this sunscreen
I love this sunscreen! I have been an EltaMD gal (still am!), but I do feel like the EltaMD sunscreen sometimes looks greasy. This does NOT at all. It has more of a matte finish, which I prefer since I have oilier skin. It goes on so well and also wears well under make-up. It's worth the price tag!

Too dark for fair skin

Keeps me shine-free
This is the first "matte" sunscreen that actually keeps me shine-free! I have oily / combination skin and not much keeps me matte, so I was pleasantly surprised to see I was only a little shiny by the end of the day. Having fair skin and being paranoid about skin cancer living in Arizona, I like that this has a higher SPF than most tinted sunscreens. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it were more tinted. While it does have a color in the bottle, I don't notice a tint at all after applying to my face. Wearing high SPF religiously, my face is lighter than my neck and chest. I was hoping to find a tinted sunscreen that would even me out a bit without resorting to wearing foundation. It doesn't leave a white cast, which is nice though.

I never used sunscreen (gasp, I know) in mg daily routine because every one I ever tried left me white, greasy, nauseous from the smell, etc. I got a sample of the Jan Marini tinted spf and I have used it every single day for over a year.
