Disappointed
I really wanted to love this product. As others have mentioned, the applicator is not useful whatsoever. I ended up needing to use a brush. The concealer leaves the under-eyes looking dried out and cakey. If you mix it with a bit of moisturizer, it looks better. All of my other makeup products are by Jane Iredale and I was really disappointed in the quality of this product.

I am sad to write this review, because I love Jane Iredale‘s products so much, but this product needs a lot of reworking. The concealer itself doesn’t conceal very well, and gives a funny shine which draws more attention to the bags under my eyes. The dispenser is frankly awful. It’s impossible to control the amount of product which comes out, and then more product keeps coming out as you use it. So you’re wondering why I’m giving it to stars and not just one? First, because I applaud the attempt to make a concealer which is also an eye treatment. And because the metal tip on the applicator is actually kind of nice, I think I might try to clean the product out of the container, and then just use the applicator with my prior concealer, because the metal applicator tip is nice and cool and smooths well.

I tried the sample. I loved the look but thought I would like a darker shade better, so I purchased Number 2. It's very orange and way too much for me. I can't blend it. I should have ordered Number 1. I didn't try to return because I already threw the box and everything away. So I'm stuck with it. If you wear a darker shade in another brand, don't buy a darker shade in this one. Very orange. I won't buy another one due to me buying one I can't use.
