Lash Fixation Length & Definition Tubing Mascara
I ordered this bc I wanted a lighter mascara for everyday wear - more natural look. Ordered it in brown. I typically use longest lash thickening & lengthening mascara in black for evenings or daytime events. I also wanted to try the “tubing” mascara. I was pleased w/ the new product. I did need to apply several times - I think bc I was just so used to the much darker black. I will continue during everyday running around errands etc.

It's my first time using a tubing mascara. I like that it washes off easily with warm water. This mascara does not clump with initial use, but it does with reapplication. It does not smudge. I would purchase it again.

Oh my goodness all the reviews raving about Jane Iredale’s tubing mascara are so true! What I like most is how the brush separates lashes. It also does a great job lengthening & thickening lashes, better results than any tubing mascara I’ve tried. Excellent product!

Love this mascara!
I started using this mascara via a black mini sample I received from Jane with one of my orders. I really liked it a lot, but I found the sample size did clump a little. But after I put it on, I just used a finger or a q-tip to remove any of the excess and it worked fine. I never wore straight black before and I really liked how my eyes popped. The mascara never budged and was very easy to wash off with warm water (the warmer the water, the easier it comes off). It is the best mascara I've tried recently and my first ever tubing mascara. I recently bought the dark brown full size and like it very much also, more of a natural look for casual days. I switch off using both of them, whatever I feel like that day or where I am going or doing on that particular day. I think I will continue to purchase both colors. The brown is definitely a darker brown but still defines and lengthens really nicely. I have not had any clumping problem with the large/normal size brown mascara. Wondering if the clumping on the trial black one had to do with the small size of the tube? In any case, not a big deal and I do really love this mascara.

Tubing flakes off
Initially I loved how long and full my lashes looked but then I started feeling like I had something in my eye all of the time. I am not in the habit of rubbing my eyes nor do I sweat profusely so there should be no flaking. The material is flaking off and going into my eyes causing irritation. Also when I remove the mascara using micellar water, it comes off is small grainy pieces., I would not recommend as I am disappointed in the product.

not easy to remove
I lost far too many lashes trying to use this mascara when trying to take it off. I l followed the directions still left lashes falling out more than normal and when you're older you only have so many lashes to work with. Product looks pretty good going on Fresh it was the removal process and it did tend to clump together sections when applying extra.

I typically really love Jane Iredale mascara and I’ve been using it for years, but I couldn’t find the version I usually get and this one leaves large flakes all over my face when I try to wash it off- it also clumps when I apply it. I’ve just continued to use my old mascara for now

Nice tubing mascara
I am enjoying this mascara and am on my second tube. It’s part of my mascara arsenal. It will give you a natural but enhanced look to your lashes, but if you are looking for drama then you will have to try another mascara. If you apply several coats, you can get a decent look. It doesn’t come off on your upper lids or flake. It’s nice to be able to rinse this off in the shower.

I received a sample of this and purchased the full size after using twice. The applicator allows me to gently build without clumping. I don't have pieces of mascara falling off throughout the day.
