It's not considered a magic mitt for me
It does help remove makeup, but it doesn’t completely remove it and so I still have to use a cleanser to do that. It does help the process of washing your face faster, as it cuts down how long you have to wash your face along with a cleanser to completely remove the makeup, so that’s a plus for me. On the other hand, the reason why I only gave 2 stars is because, it’s very time consuming to wash the mitt. Even though I use hot water and dawn, I still spend forever trying to remove the lipstick, black mascara and black eyeliner. Most of it will come off, but it still leaves a stain.

Wow, this thing is magic! A regular wash cloth is so sloppy and difficult to use compared to this mitt. The fabric of the mitt is gentle, yet effective at clearing makeup, cleaning, and cleansing my skin. I typically use a gentle cleanser along with the mitt just to melt make up off, though it's not absolutely necessary. I plan to keep this mitt as a staple for my nightly face wash. I really love that the mitt does not pull on my skin. I feel like I am treating my skin better using this mitt rather than a wash cloth.

I love this mitt. I wash with soap by hand first to get most of stuff as makeups, sunscreen, etc off my face, then use it as my last rinse/rub, then use soap to wash the mitt. I found it works best for me this way. I notice that if "stuff" gets into this mitt, it would be hard to remove, I still have some spots stick on this mitt that is almost impossible to wash off. Other than that, this mitt is very good. It last me at least 2 years (or longer, if I am picky about it ...)

It does not remove waterproof mascara very well. It does an okay job on long wearing foundation, but the cloth stains terribly after removing makeup. You have to really wash it out with soap and water after each use and still the mascara and lipstick stains will be there. It’s a glorified wash cloth. I will not be repurchasing.
