JI has the best eye shadow for a number of reasons: Natural color choices, goes on super smooth ( even on aging lids), looks good all day, layers well, has both lovely matte and shades with a very slight sparkle, and a cleaner list of ingredients. I am also a contact lens wearer and have had no irritable flecks getting in my eyes. I had a JI palette where one of the colors ( silk blouse) ran out and I found that the color sienna was almost the exact match. Love it!!

Love individual shadows
I believe I have all of the Jane Iredale shadow palettes and singles which I enjoy but I find myself using the individual shadows more. I gravitate to my favorites, French vanilla, bone, oyster and sienna . They blend well, stay on all day and offer a wide range of color combinations.

I've been using these Eye Shadows for years. I love that they are have clean ingredients, and they last forever! The two shades i've used are Champagne & Double Expresso.. I was disappointed to discover that the Champagne color is no longer made, when I finally ran out of it- yet this Bone color is very close. It's a matte shadow, which I prefer for a subtle look; and to address my somewhat reddish-tinted eye lids. I use a Jane Iredale peach-tone concealer first, then this shadow for a neutralizing natural look. The Double Espresso I use almost like a light liner on my dark brown eyes (using a slim brush for just a hint; or as an option you can wet the brush for a bit more definition) . Both of these colors go well with my olive complexion.

Fabulous Eyeshadow
I recently purchased several Jane Iredale eyeshadows since I've been struggling with eczema on my eyelids. I've always known that their products are used in various medi spas and my dermatologist highly recommended them. This past winter my eczema really escalated and I've also developed syringoma on my one eyelid and I knew I needed to find eyeshadows that would be good for me to use and not cause irritation. I am totally amazed! I absolutely love them! The "french vanilla" shadow I apply to my lids and even with my eczema flair ups the eyeshadow looks flawless and covers over the eczema without any irritation and stays in place with no creasing or fading all day long. The finish has a creamy silky texture but it's in pressed powdered form. I've also purchased "sienna" to apply to the creases of my lids and it looks wonderful. I actually use the "dark suede " shadow for my eyebrows and the color is perfect. Definitely these eyeshadows were a game changer for me!
