As others have stated, you have to be careful not to use to much or your hair will be to stiff. After a few times, you will know what is the right amount based on one's hair length and thickness. I usually use a quarter size dab, rub it between my two hands and work it through my hair to distribute it evenly. I wouldn't use anything else for styling my hair!!
