I love how lightweight this foundation is. During the day, if I'm not looking for a fully done look, I'll just apply a layer and it helps even out my skin tone and adds nice moisture to my skin. If I'm wearing at night, I'll add a second layer for a more polished look. I have a hard time finding foundations that don't break me out or settle into fine lines. This product doesn't do either.

I decided to try Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation after reading great reviews on it. I ordered it in shade 113 which is a light warm shade. The shade was perfect for my skin tone. After applying it , I immediately liked the consistency but the best part was how it looked on my skin....like a second skin. This foundation melts right in, gives an airbrushed look and smooths pores for a beautiful look. Worth the price.

I use 213. Sinks into my skin, never sits pores because this light, greenish tone matches my light yellow/olive Asian skin tone absolutely perfectly. In summer if I have some color, I mix in 147 or even 123 to mix my current skin shade. I can just use about a pea size to make the redness on my cheeks less apparent and it’s all I need. No stickiness, no. Red for powder, feels good, lasts all day, natural natural natural. Look for reviews - you’ll see how amazing this is. Yes it is pricey- but I only use a tiny bit so this is worth it to me. For something that makes my skin look like SKIN - I happily choose this. 013 is a perfect shade for my cool undertone. I am light skinned but not super fair. Works for my cool olive undertone. Does not have a pink tone IMO. Buildable coverage that does not look patchy. No creasing or settling into fine lines. Beautiful! I have tried to get by with other brands due to price but have been unsuccessful at finding one. Setting powder is optional, which is also nice.

I was ready to return this on the first try. After letting it settle for a few minutes I thought, hmm could this be the foundation I’ve searched for all my life. I’m in my 40’s. I have fine lines, large pores, dark spots, acne scars and uneven tone. I used the green base and then I applied this using a dry sponge. The second time I set the sponge and stippled it into the skin moving in different directions, worked even better. I first covered my face with one pump and it dries very fast and just used a half pump last and done. I kind of love this. The match is perfect for my fair rosy skin. I got 002. I then used some of their brightening moisture powder on spots that I feel needs a little more coverage. After about 5 minutes it all seems to meld together and look so flawless! This really is a great natural skin like foundation that brings out the natural beauty in your own skin. It won’t cover major flaws, but you can add concealer for that. I use shade 002 on my fair, pink-toned NW 18 skin. My skin is good, but as I age I have noticed that foundations that I used to love are not sitting well on my skin anymore. This foundation does give you that facial like glow as it conceals redness without clinging to dry patches, or emphasizing pores, texture, or lines and wrinkles. I'm quite grateful to the reviewers that noted that Warm 213 was great for pale olive skin because it was a perfect match for my normally impossible to match pale olive skin.
