Within 10 minutes my face was bright red and itching uncontrollably. I washed it off ASAP. My skin was itchy for one day after, but it stayed red for days. Never thought about wet as opposed to dry sunscreen. But there is definitely a difference. I have always disliked putting sunscreen on because it would take forever to become absorbed into my skin. It’s definitely dry to the touch, but it leaves white EVERYWHERE, even after waiting a half hour after applying. Anywhere my skin touches my clothes are white, the chair I sit in is white where my legs touched it. I would rather have the annoying sticky feel than leave a trail wherever I go. Also, it’s hard to now if my skin is still protected when it seems like all the sunscreen is coming off.
