Adapalene 0.1%
I was looking for an alternative to retinol and researched adapalene. My skin reacts terribly to retinol, but this is different! I can actually use adapalene without the extreme sensitivity, redness, and peeling I have with retinol. Whenever I feel the beginnings of a pimple, I use this gel and it disappears almost overnight.

It irritates my skin less than a different brand, though there might not be a scientific reason for that. I use my moisturizer underneath this to get my skin used to it and it's a big improvement! Really like the product and I know it'll last a long time.

LRP adapalene gel
This stuff is awesome! I have tried LOTS of acne treatments and LOTS of retinol type treatments. I have skin that is oily, acne prone and tends to be pretty sensitive. I have started using this at night M,W,F and have noticed my cystic type acne is no longer red and inflamed and all my white heads are disappearing. I wouldn’t say that I have severe acne but I have persistent hormonal acne and sometimes it takes a long time to clear up and then once it does I have another one pop up. This stuff made a difference almost immediately and with no irritation. I really like it! It’s affordable and works well for me. Definitely recommend trying it!

My dermatologist suggested this to me as an option to Retin A. It’s much less expensive. Although it's too early to see results, I have no flaking and I love its smooth creamy texture as I apply it. I definitely will keep using it as my retinoid.

I have used this product for several years now with very exciting results! I’ve always had some blackheads, especially on my nose, that I absolutely despise and the Effaclar Adapalene has really worked to keep them clear and prevent new ones. I’ve tried Retin-A over the years and even at the lowest dose, has been too harsh on my skin, especially my nose. Ever since I first started using this, I’ve had no reactions, no sensitivity and no additional redness that some of the other topical vitamin A formulas can cause. I highly recommend trying this product!

I got this as a sample and had to have the full size. If I use just a dab of this on a zit or even where I can feel one growing under the skin, it stops the growth! This is hands down the best acne fighter in my arsenal! As an adult with acne (yuck!) I have hunted for how to zap those puppies when they pop up. This really works!

Takes time to start working, but great product.
As you may know, adapalene requires patience. It needs to be used consistently and it takes a couple months to start reaping the benefits. This product is great because it's fragrance free, and doesn't bleach fabric and hair like benzoyl peroxide does. Plus it has the added benefit of anti-aging properties. Would recommend.

Gentle for sensitive skin!
I've only been using this gel for about two months, but so far, I'm very pleased. I've tried Rx-strength tretinoin, but my skin couldn't tolerate it. I even had trouble with Rx-strength adapalene in the past, but this over-the-counter gel has been working great. I had no redness, dryness, or peeling, even with nightly use. I also didn't have any "purge" period of breakouts. (I did use a thick moisturizer.) It's too early to say how effective the gel is at improving my skin texture and color, but I want to say I've seen some improvements.
