I have fine straight gray hair cut in a pixie style. It’s hard for me to keep volume in my hair, it seems to go flat in a heartbeat. On top of that, I have some thinning in the crown. I’m working to help with regrowth, but in the mean time, I wanted to find a shampoo that would help give my hair some extra “oomph” but not weigh it down. I read some great reviews on the L’anza thickening shampoo plus my hairdresser gave it a thumbs up, so I got a bottle. Since I have a pixie cut, I use only a tiny amount (maybe pea-size). It’s very creamy and lathers nicely, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and easy to style. It does not weigh my hair down and it doesn’t dry out my hair either. I still have to use other products to give my hair volume when I’m drying it, but all in all, I’m very happy with this shampoo. An added plus for me is that the shampoo is only very lightly scented, which makes me very happy as well.

This shampoo does what it is supposed to - it makes my dry fragile hair feel and look thicker and fuller. It also reduces frizz. I do not need a conditioner when I shampoo with this product. The one downside is it makes my hair feel more oily so instead washing every 3-4 days I now have to wash it every 2-3.

I loved the sample and immediately ordered the thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner when I saw that they were an option. I can't say that the thickening was much different from the samples that I had tried. However, these products do not weigh my hair down and do leave my hair shiny with no loss of color fading. I find that my hair dries much faster and the styling seems to stay very well also. Obviously, I am very happy with these products!
